If you work for a settlement agency or teach migration issues, if you code for fun or for a living, if you report on immigration or public policy is your thing, grab a friend and join us for Hacking Migration in the Capital on Nov. 2 & 3.
As part of Americas Datafest, we're laying the groundwork for an exciting cross-sector collaboration in Ottawa and we'd love to have you. You'll be brainstorming ways to use existing data sets in new and exciting ways. You'll get to tackle complex research questions or create useful tools to help solve practical problems in the lives of newcomers. Most of all, you'll contribute your skills to a diverse team working in a fun, creative atmosphere for a great cause. Oh, and there will be delicious food - and great prizes!
